Porsche CEO Michael Leiters has ruled out an all-electric version of the Mission S, citing a lack of demand for electric supercars. The upcoming flagship sports car is expected to feature a V8 or flat-eight combustion engine, with potential hybrid powertrains also under consideration.
Porsche ne October 15th ko New York mein Mission S unveil ki hai, so yeh sirf ek new halo car nahi hai jo 911 ke above position ki jayegi. Other than this, yeh ek new supercar platform ki bhi starting hai, jiske basis par future mein different-different powertrains ke saath kuch spectacular cars dekhi jaa sakti hai. But agar aap iska all electric version expect kar rahe hai, so aisa nahi hone wala hai, as per Michael Leiters, CEO of the Zuffenhausen-based firm. Design aspect mein, Porsche ne apni history ke multiple models se inspiration li hai. Front profile mein late-nineties Porsche 911 GT1 ki styling dekhi jaa sakti hai, wahin rear end Carrera GT se inspired lagta hai. Other than this, kuch other design elements Porsche 928, 919 Hybrid or 917 se bhi liye gaye hai. Jaise ki 917 se inspired large air intake or cooling ke liye upar ki taraf mounted fan dekha jaa sakta hai. And of course, iske headlights clearly Porsche 911 se connection establish karte hai, jo brand ki history ki most iconic or successful models mein se ek rahi hai.

The Porsche Mission S would not be electric, but it will be many other things Mission S ek production model nahi hai, rather yeh ek ya multiple future models ka basis ban sakta hai, similar to how Mission E ne Porsche Taycan ko preview kiya tha, although both exactly same nahi the. presentation ke time par toh standard 911 ka boxer six-cylinder engine dikhaya gaya tha, but final production model mein conventional eight-cylinder combustion engine diye jaana expected hai. Ismein V8 or boxer eight-cylinder engine both options dekhe jaa sakte hai. Other than this, architecture ko is tarah develop kiya jaa sakta hai ki future mein hybrid ya plug-in hybrid powertrain ka option bhi diya jaa sake. Yeh flexibility important hai because isse company drivers ke tastes or preferences ke according adapt kar sakti hai. Company apne customers ki needs ko sunte hue different regulatory situations ko bhi mind mein rakh sakti hai. For example, ICE engine US market ke liye perfectly fit ho sakta hai. However, Mission S se derive hone wala jo bhi model hoga, woh combustion-engine Macan ke successor ke saath hi nahi, rather electric 718 Boxster or Cayman ke baad launch kiya jayega. Porsche ki Sportwagenschmiede '35 strategy ke according, abb se lekar 2030 tak every year major new model launches expect kiye jaa rahe hai. A preview of the brand's future Leiters ne kaha ki unka intention isse ek new mid-engined sports car ke basis ke form par use karne ka hai, jo clearly Porsche 911 se above position ki jayegi. Mission S basically ek proposal hai ki aisi car future mein kaisi ho sakti hai. Unhone specifically kaha ki yeh abhi ek possibility hai, confirmed production model nahi. Yeh ek vision hai ki Porsche apni identityko same rakhte hue kaise evolve kar sakti hai. Mission S mein kuch aise ideas, proportions or design principles reflect kiye gaye hai jo Porsche ke future products ko influence karenge or brand ke next chapter ko shape karne mein help karenge, Leiters ne add kiya.

Porsche Mission S mein brand ki ab tak ki history ka essence dekha jaa sakta hai, so yeh basically ek aisi car hai jo Porsche ne ab tak jo kuch bhi achieve kiya hai, uska amalgamation hai. Sirf itna hi nahi, Porsche ke Head of Design Tobias Sühlmann ke according, Mission S future models ke kuch design elements ko bhi preview karti hai. Means, brand ke upcoming models mein se jo most first launch honge, unmein Mission S ka DNA dekha jaa sakta hai. Other than this, Porsche ke paas is new mid-engine platform ka use karke limited edition supercars ya hypercars develop karne ka option bhi hai, jo future mein kaafi exciting possibility open kar sakta hai. A endeavor that the whole brand supported from the start Mission S ki starting February mein ek phone call ke saath hui thi, or intersting baat yeh hai ki isi month Suhlmann ne Porsche join kiya tha. Isse pehle woh Bentley mein work kar chuke the. Ek roundtable discussion ke during, Sühlmann ne explain kiya ki kaise Porsche ki entire team ne is project ko complete karne ke liye apna full dedication diya. That's the reason company ne sirf eight months ke under Mission S ko global unveiling ke liye ready kar paayi. Sühlmann ne bataya ki unke mind mein ek aisi car banane ka vision tha jo Porsche 911 se bhi above position ki jaa sake. Iske liye unhone several ideas consider kiye the, but unhe khud bhi believe nahi ho raha ki itne short time period mein woh product aaj unke saamne hai. Unke according, yeh poori journey kaafi fantastic rahi hai, because project ko team ke every member ne starting se hi wholeheartedly embrace kiya tha. News Source: Motor.es
